Our Tuscany hot air balloon experience was unreal! It was exciting to see the balloon being inflated before the flight. Your Tuscan hot air balloon adventure will begin upon arrival at the take-off point. First, your pilot will prepare and inflate the balloon, perform all safety checks, and instruct you on flight safety. Then, you will board the basket and fly over the beautiful Tuscan vineyards. While floating peacefully through the clouds, you can experience the famous Italian harmony of medieval buildings and tame landscapes. Below, paths will stretch, bordered by tall and slender cypress trees, terracotta roofs, vineyards, and olive groves. Tuscan nature is home to many animals - with some luck, you will spot deer, various birds, and even wild boars.
GLIDE OVER SAN CASCIANO'S SCENIC VALLEYS AND HILLS
During your flight, depending on the route your pilot takes and the direction the wind blows, you'll spot some historic castles and fortresses in the area. You might see Castello di Gabbiano, a 12th-century castle surrounded by lush vineyards, Castello di Bibbione, built in the 10th century right on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, or even Castello di Poppiano, an impressive fortress over 1,000 years old still used today for wine production.
