Loved the wine tasting experience!
As wine lovers, we never miss wine tastings when visiting areas with a strong wine culture. The Montepulciano wine tour was one of those cases, and we were pleasantly surprised. The lady guiding us through the family-run premises had a charming presence and was very informative. But, the main focus for us was the wines themselves. Rosso di Montepulciano was my favorite, but all the wines were terrific, with complex flavors. To sum up, it was a great tour with delicious wines!
Expanding our horizons
We decided to treat ourselves to our very first wine tasting tour! We were amazed at how well cheese was paired with red wine, as we usually consume wine independently. Local olive oil and bruschetta also hit the mark really well. The wine cellar was very cool. Those huge barrels were a sight to see! Our guide was great, very knowledgeable, and pleasant to listen to. I think we have found a new hobby when visiting wine-making regions. The Montepulciano wine tasting is definitely worth it!
